Background:
Ms Brathwaite is a 1997 MBA graduate of Babson College (Boston, MA) in Marketing and Information Technology. In addition, she completed a B.Sc. in Agribusiness Management at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus in 1994.

In October 1998, after consulting in the US, she returned to accept the role of Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension of the Faculty of Science and Agriculture at the University of the West Indies. Ms Brathwaite also lectures at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business of the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago.
