Carolyn Kristy Correia is an communications consultant, motivational speaker, freelance writer, blogger and author of the books: Thinking out Loud (2011) and How
To Find Yourself & Claim What’s Yours (2015). Her passion for writing has led to speaking engagements internationally
and in her home country of Trinidad & Tobago.
The author has graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Literatures in English and Communications from the University of the West Indies and a Master of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. She is also trained in Broadcasting, Human Resource Management and classical piano with the Royal Schools of Music (UK).
Carolyn has over 10 years combined professional experience in the fields of Human Resource Management, Communications and (freelance) Journalism in the trade and commerce, media, microfinance, hospitality and tourism industries on both islands of Trinidad & Tobago. She has also been a blogger for the past 8 years and has contributed to publications in T&T, Jamaica, the United States and United Kingdom.
In 2012 she received a First Time Author’s award from the National Library of Trinidad and Tobago. She took a hiatus from corporate life in 2014 to form her own company HIC Omega Consulting which is also a member of the Trinidad & Tobago Chamber of Industry & Commerce.
Above all, Carolyn is a student of life: she loves learning and experimenting with new concepts on her path to self-actualization.
